Camp

Now offering youth skaters the opportunity to develop their tricks faster, build confidence, and meet fellow skaters at private and public skateparks in Philadelphia. Each week-long camp, skaters participate in group and individual lessons as well as fun games and contests. Some games include: S.K.A.T.E., highest ollie, longest ollie, highest hippie hop, street contest, mini-ramp contests, tick-tack race, dodgeball, kickball, basketball, slack-lining, scavenger hunts, and more. Campers have the option to participate in contests as contestants, coaches, judges, filmers, or spectators. 

Camp Information:

  • Ages 6-15
  • Drop-off time at 9am / Pick-up time at 3pm
    • After 3:15pm, you will be charged $10 per hour
  • Morning-Care begins at 8am / After-care ends at 5pm
    • After 5:15pm, you will be charged $10 per hour
  • Campers must bring their own lunch/snacks and water bottles.
  • Please have children wear sneakers (no open toe shoes), bring a helmet and pads, hairstyles that will fit the helmet, and comfortable clothes.

Camp Schedule:

  • 8:00am – Morning-Care Check In
  •  9:00am – Check-in
    • All participants hang out in park area
  • 9:00am – Check-in    
    • All participants hang out in park area
  • 9:00am – 9:15am Stretching  
    • Go through stretches
    • General Rules
    • Safety
    • Daily plan
    • talk with each child to get to know them
      • Name
      • Age
      • Favorite skater
      • How long they have been skating
  • Kids are split by age and skill
  • 9:15am – Warm up / open skate    
    • Let skaters get warmed up and comfortable with course
  • 10:00am – Skate instruction where needed    
    • Work on flat ground tricks, grinds, grab, manuals and transition
  • 11:00am – 12:00pm    
    • Open skate
    • Lessons
  • 12:00pm – 1:30pm – Lunch (Campers will have to bring their own lunch)    
    • Watch skate videos
    • Discuss goals campers want from camp
    • Cool down
    • Pickup or drop-off for half day campers
  • 1:30pm – 2:45pm – Contest of the day/ Group activity (subject to change)  
    • Skaters have option to skate in contests and/or be judges for best trick, highest ollie, longest manual, best skate run, mini-ramp contest, tick-tack race, dodgeball, slack-line, scavenger hunt, basketball
  • 2:45pm – 3:00pm – Cool down and pick up/ Dodge Ball and open skate
  • 3:00pm – 5:00pm – Aftercare
