After School Skateboard Club in the Fall, 2020!

The Fall, 2020 will be a new challenge that every family will face. Remote learning, hybrid school schedules, and students who have less “fun” time at their schools because of COVID-19. We are happy to announce that Skate The Foundry is going to offer After School Skateboard Club in the Fall, 2020!

If your child (or know anyone that) is doing a homeschool and have flexible schedules in the morning and early afternoon (12-3pm), please let us know.

What you need to bring:
1. Skateboard: If you don’t have a skateboard yet, we recommend getting a skateboard from local skate shops instead of Target, Walmart, Amazon and etc. We also have an online skate shop and offer curbside pick up every weekend. We would be happy to assist you about the size of the board and etc.
2. Helmet.
3. Safety gear (Knee/elbow pads and wrist guards).
4. Water bottle.
5. A light snack – we recommend having a skater eat some light snack before coming to the club if possible.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Policy:
1. Please self isolate for 14 days upon return to PA if you have traveled to the states on Travel Quarantine List before coming to our camp.
2. All instructors, skaters and their families will be asked to wear clean masks the entire time.
3. Masks must have ear loops or ties that go around the ear or go over the head in order to stay well in the camper’s face. We are not accepting a bandana or a neck cover/gaiter.
4. The instructor will make sure everyone takes enough water break throughout the club to avoid heat exhaustion, however, please have them drink plenty of fluid before coming to the club.
5. If a skater isn’t following this rule, the parent/guardian will be asked to pick them up early. We are not able to have them back if this behavior keeps occurring another class. Skate The Foundry has a right not to issue a refund/credit for this program if this occurs.
