Permission to Walk Home Waiver

All minor campers and enrolled participants in Skate The Foundry programs who are not transported to and from the program must have a signed Walking Waiver on file with Skate The Foundry. Participants enrolled with Skate The Foundry are required to check in with a staff member when attempting to depart from Skate The Foundry or from a Skate The Foundry program located outside our main facility, such as at a public skatepark like Paine’s Skatepark. If a participant’s name is not on the approved departure list, they will be denied permission to leave, and their parents will need to pick them up, possibly incurring associated late fees. Enrolled participants without Walking Waivers are strictly prohibited from leaving Skate The Foundry program locations unaccompanied by an adult.

Only if a sibling is also participating the program.
I acknowledge that by permitting my child to walk, skateboard, ride a bike, use public transportation, or utilize ride-sharing services such as Uber or Lyft to/from Skate The Foundry Summer Camp and all other Skate The Foundry Programs, whether at Skate The Foundry located at 888 N. 40th Street, Philadelphia, PA, or at any other program location such as Paine’s Skatepark or any other skatepark where Skate The Foundry conducts programs, I assume responsibility for potential risks that may arise. These risks include, but are not limited to, accidents, illness, injury, inclement weather, abduction, exposure to illegal substances, and severe harm. I fully understand and accept all of these risks, and hereby release Skate The Foundry, its officers, agents, employees, contractors, and interns from any and all liability or claims that may arise in connection with my child’s travel to and from Skate The Foundry programs. This release and assumption of risks extend to my heirs, executors, administrators, and all members of my family. By signing this waiver, I confirm that the child named above will travel independently to the specified locations.
I hereby grant explicit permission for my child to independently leave the premises of Skate The Foundry, as well as any other location affiliated with Skate The Foundry, without supervision.
